TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.0 | DESIGN SCOPE OF WORK
IDG will fulfill the agreed scope of work outlined in the design proposal. Please note that "scope" does not include services from contractors, including architectural, plumbing, electrical, and engineering. The scope does not include modifications and alternations to structural, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, or ventilation systems.
2.0 | DRAWINGS
Where required, IDG will provide drawings to assist with the design process. The drawings are conceptual only. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure accurate information is provided. Drawings generated for the client must not be used for any purpose outside the design concept.
3.0 | CONSULTANTS AND CONTRACTORS
IDG does not provide General Contractor Services and will engage in a separate contract. IDG shall make recommendations using our approved providers but does not offer any warranty, guarantee, or certification of a consultant or contractor's part of the project. It cannot be held responsible for their works, materials used, performance, or timelines.
IDG will supervise consultants and contractors for conformity to the design concept.
4.0 | DESIGN FEES
The design fee will be calculated using a fixed and hourly hybrid structure. IDG will estimate hours per design phase and notify you if the Design Fee is likely to exceed that estimate. Interior Designers bill at CI$150 per hour. Interior Architects bill at CI$200 per hour. The approved scope of construction works fixes project management fees at 5%.

IDG will render invoices at monthly/at reasonable intervals.
4.2
Flat fees are paid in three intervals; 25% at the onset of the scope of work to be completed, 50% at the midpoint as determined by deliverables outlined in the scope of work, and the final 25% upon the completion of that scope or work in the design phase.
4.3
Hourly fees will be billed monthly. An invoice under contract is due upon receipt. Unpaid invoices will bear interest at 2%, calculated monthly.
4.4
Note; If, without limitation, this Agreement is terminated, put on hold, or delayed before completion of the project due to Change Orders or changes in the 'Scope of Work,' IDG reserves the right to charge for time spent at our standard hourly rates.
5.0 | PRICES FOR MERCHANDISE
Budget guidelines are encouraged at the conception of a project. The budget will determine the range and quality of interior elements. Budget guidelines are not a guarantee of the cost of a project, but IDG will seek to stay within those guidelines to achieve your goals.
Prices quoted during the consultation may be subject to change by the manufacturer. We will notify you when changes are brought to our attention. In the event of a price increase, we require your authorization before proceeding. IDG cannot guarantee prices of merchandise, interior installations, or other services not performed by us.
Quotes are only valid for 05 business days from the date sent. Responding to quotes on a timely basis is advised to avoid vendor changes and price increases that are out of IDG's control.
6.0 | REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Furniture
Furniture explicitly ordered for a project cannot be refunded. For in-stock purchases, a restocking fee of 20% will be applied to the refund. All returns must be submitted in like new condition, including original packaging. Returns made through IDG Delivery services are subject to a fee of CI$75.00. Payment must be made prior to collection.
Shipping, Deliver, and Processing Fees
All shipping, delivery, and processing fees are in accordance with the Cayman Islands Government Customs and Boarder Control. They are non-refundable and non-negotiable. Due to supply issues, we cannot control lead times, but we will monitor and keep you informed of any problems that may arise.
Rugs, Accessories, Fixtures, and Hardware
All "in-stock" rugs, accessories, and furnishings purchased at our retail location are eligible for return, for store credit, within seven days with proof of purchase.
Bedding and Linens
All bedding and linen purchases are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Custom and Special Order Items
All custom and unique order products require a 100% deposit and are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Items Not Eligible for Return
These items include but are not limited to; pillow inserts, duvet inserts, mattresses and protective mattress covers, and all installed unique and/or custom-ordered products. Sale items are not eligible for return.
7.0 | PUBLICITY
IDG has the right to photograph and document the project for our portfolio and marketing. IDG will not publicize your name or any specific details of the property. See privacy policy.
8.0 | CONSULTANTS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTRACTORS
IDG can recommend our vetted sub-contractors and/or consultants when requested. Any contractors or consultants engaged by IDG shall be responsible for code compliance in the various areas of their expertise.
9.0 | PURCHASING AND PROCUREMENT OF MERCHANDISE
IDG will place "Purchase orders" on your behalf, with 100% payment and signed authorization on the tear sheets provided.
Once your Purchase Orders have been submitted, IDG will follow up with the manufacturers and monitor their progress for delivery and installation as your Purchasing Agent. Should you wish to make any changes after your order has been submitted, IDG will try to accommodate you but cannot offer guarantees.
IDG cannot accept liability for manufacturer delays, shipping, customs, third parties, or circumstance beyond our control, including natural disasters. Such delays may directly affect your projected completion date.
After an order has been confirmed, manufacturers may notify us that an item is out of stock, discontinued, or has increased in price. We will inform you and endeavor to source replacements for items that are not available but cannot otherwise bear liability for such changes.
IDG does not independently offer warranties or guarantees beyond those extended by the manufacturer, but as their official on-Island representatives, we will pursue claims against them on your behalf. IDG will not be responsible for any damages or issues for products purchased by an "internet company." Additional costs may apply to these specific vendors.
10.0 | YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The design process is interactive. Our team must communicate with you regularly to ensure the specifications and requirements are being met.
Your cooperation is critical throughout the project, including access to the project site, prompt attention to documents for approval, and facilitating communications between IDG and other professionals. We may need your floor plans, surveys, drawings, or related information.
If you know of factors affecting the project at any time, please inform us in writing as soon as possible so we can make accommodations.
Before installation, we will require the space to be ready. Should you need assistance clearing the space, our team can assess and apply an hourly rate for removal but will bear no responsibility for damages or issues incurred.
11.0 | INSURANCE
Insurance coverage is the client's responsibility for all furnishings, furniture, and other materials during handling, moving, storing, and installations.
12.0 | OWNERSHIP OF DESIGN
IDG shall retain artistic ownership of all designs, including drawings, renderings, sketches, samples, or other materials we prepared for the project.
13.0 | TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT
This Agreement can be terminated by either party on written notice to the other, without prejudice. IDG has the right to payment of any outstanding invoices and additional costs or fees chargeable in accordance with this Agreement.
